Tauranga berth delays — week 3 update

Cook Strait crossings — June weather window

FCL availability: Lyttelton to Sydney tightens

Congestion at Tauranga's main berth is running two days behind published schedules. Vessels on the North Island coastal loop are holding at anchor.

Southerly fronts have reduced reliable crossing windows to three days per week. LCL consolidations on Wellington-Picton legs are being adjusted accordingly.

Full-container space on the Lyttelton–Sydney lane is at 85% for the next two sailings. Partial loads on those dates carry risk of rollover.

Trans-Tasman schedule revision — July sailings

July trans-Tasman departures have shifted by four days following vessel repositioning. Revised dates are now confirmed and published on the schedule page.

Bay of Plenty reefer demand peaks through late May. Exporters without confirmed space by week two of May should treat their slot as unconfirmed.

MPI inspection queues are running 36–48 hours above baseline for certain commodity codes. Importers should build that buffer into clearance planning.
